Only a 3-minute walk from Toldi Cinema, Empathy Café, the recently opened charity café of Red Cross, serves as a cozy meeting point for festival guests and visitors. Come in between November 6-11, and get a 10% discount by showing your festival pass or ticket. All café proceeds support the work of the Red Cross. Besides speciality coffee, the Red Cross also focuses on complying with sustainability measures and aims at running a community space for cultural and intellectual events, all to inspire guests with tolerance and openness.
November 7-8-9, two hours before closing, the café will host informal meetings for the documentary film industry. Verzio invites filmmakers, producers, distributors and everyone who works with or studies documentary cinema:
