Erika Kapronczai

Bio: 

Erika Kapronczai graduated from the University of Pécs with a degree in aesthetics, then from the University of Theatre and Film Arts with a degree in film directing. She is co-founder and creative producer of the international audiovisual dream collection DREAMPIRE. In addition to directing short feature films (Well under the Sun; THREESOME), she also produces documentaries and portraits (CEU20; DREAMPIRE; Sajdik; INFORG PORTRAITS; KIM; F - The Man with the Antenna). She is currently working on her first feature film and is supporting first feature projects as a creative producer.

Dér Asia

Bio: 

A DocNomads MA programjában végzett dokumentumfilm-rendezőként. A Levelek Anyámtól című diplomafilmjét a Magyar Filmhét legjobb filmjei közé válogatták. Jelenleg a budapesti Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetem doktorandusza. Első, egész estés filmje, a Haragonics Sárival közösen rendezett Anyáim története több mint 30 filmfesztiválra kijutott, és számos díjat hozott el, többek között a Legjobb filmnek járó díjakat a Moszkva Nemzetközi Dokumentumfilm Fesztivál DOKeren és a linzi CROSSING EUROPE Film Fesztiválon. A film az HBO koprodukciójában készült el és a Sundance Post-production Fund támogatta. Asia jelenleg második, egész estés dokumentumfilmjén dolgozik, Nem haltam meg munkacímmel. Filmjeivel részt vett a ZagrebDox Pro, a CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator, az East Doc Platform, a Cannes Docs és a Docu Rough Cut Boutique fórumokon. A FREEszfe Egyesület tagja és óraadó tanára, valamint elnökségi tagja a Magyar Dokumentumfilmesek Egyesületének (MADOKE).

Asia Dér

Bio: 

Asia Dér graduated from the DOCnomads MA program as a documentary director, and is pursuing her doctoral degree at the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest. Her graduation film, Letters from Mom, was nominated for best short film at the Hungarian Film Week, and her first feature (co-directed with Sári Haragonics), Her Mothers, was co-produced with HBO and supported by the Sundance Post-production Fund. Her Mothers was shown at more than 30 international film festivals and won several awards, including Best Film award at the Moscow International Documentary Film Festival DOKer, and the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival in Linz. She has participated at ZagrebDox Pro, CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator, East Doc Platform, Cannes Docs, and the Docu Rough Cut Boutique. Asia’s currently working on her second feature-length documentary, I Did Not Die (Nem haltam meg), and is a member and teacher at the FREEszfe Association, and a presidium member of the Hungarian Documentary Association.

Ugrin Julianna

Bio: 

Ugrin Julianna a filmszakmában 2008-ban kezdett el dolgozni a Flóra Film Internationalben Kocsis Tiborral, mint producer asszisztens és nemzetközi projekt felelős. 2009–ben végezte el az EURODOC-ot, amely egy dokumentumfilmes produceri képzés és fejlesztő workshop. 2009-ben kezdett el a Havas Films-ben dolgozni, mint producer. 2011-ben társszervezője volt az EURODOC első fordulójának Budapesten. Ugyanebben az évben kezdett el dolgozni Kenyeres Bálint Tegnap című nagyjátékfilm-tervén, amellyel a Cannes-i filmfesztivál Atelier programjában is részt vettek. 2011-ben megalapította saját filmgyártó cégét, az Éclipse Filmet. Filmterveivel számos nemzetközi vásáron és pitching fórumon részt vett, és a kész filmek olyan fesztiválokon szerepeltek vagy nyertek díjakat, mint például a Sundance, az IDFA, Locarno, a Sarajevo IFF, a DOK Leipzig vagy a HotDocs. Filmjei olyan díjakat nyertek el, mint a Magyar Filmkritikusok díja, a Magyar Filmdíj, a FIPRESCI díj, számos alkalommal a legjobb dokumentumfilmnek járó díj, és az Egy nő fogságbant 2018-ban az Európai Filmdíjra is jelölték. 2012 óta a DunaDOCK dokumentumfilmes programsorozat főszervezője. 2014 és 2016 között a Café Filmben is dolgozott producerként. 2015-ben elvégezte az EAVE produceri képzést. 2016 óta a Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetem DLA hallgatója. 2019-ben a Cannes Filmfesztivál Producers on the Move szekciójába válogatták, hogy Magyarországot képviselje. A Magyar Filmakadémia, a MADOKE, a DAE és az EFA tagja.

Julianna Ugrin

Bio: 

Julianna Ugrin graduated from university in 2005, after which she began working in film at Flora Film International. In 2009 she was selected to the EURODOC producer’s workshop. Since March 2009 she has worked at Havas Films as a producer and production manager. She established Éclipse Film, an independent film production company in 2011, and has developed projects at various international workshops and pitching forums. Films she produced were screened, nominated and awarded at festivals like Sundance, IDFA, DOK Leipzig, or Sarajevo IFF. Since 2013 she has taught at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in documentary MA studies, where she is also a DLA student. Ugrin is part of Emerging Producers 2014, and is an EAVE graduate. She is organizer of DunaDOCK Master Class & Pitching series, and a member of the Hungarian Film Academy and of EDN. Holy Dilemma is her first feature documentary as a director.

What makes your film successful on a European level?

Debre Zsuzsa

Bio: 

Debre Zsuzsa 2021-ben végzett az SZFE DokMA IV.-ben, Almási Tamás osztályában. Dolgozott riporterként rádióban, tévében és újságnál is. 2018-ban alapította az Ethnic Talents castingügynökséget, amely kisebbségek és más a médiában és filmekben kevésbé reprezentált csoportok, filmes és reklámos láthatóságának elősegítésén dolgozik. Jelenleg kommunikációs feladatokat lát el az Egalipe Hálózaton belül, és a Forbes Events szerkesztője. Kutatási fázisban van egy interaktív dokumentumfilm-terve és forgatási fázisban van egy a Füvészkertről szóló ismeretterjesztő dokumentumfilmje.

Zsuzsa Debre

Bio: 

Zsuzsa Debre graduated in 2021 at the University of Theatre and Film Arts as a Documentary Director, in the class of Tamás Almási. She has worked as a reporter for radio, television and newspapers. In 2018 she founded the Ethnic Talents casting agency, which works to promote the visibility of minorities and other groups less represented in media and film, in film and advertising. She currently serves as a communications officer for the Egalipe Network and is the editor of Forbes Events. She has an interactive documentary project in research phase and an educational documentary about the Botanic Garden in Budapest in production phase.

Bio: 

Nemes Anna festőművész. A Beauty of the Beast élete első filmes munkája, amelynek premierje a Sheffield DocFesten volt, majd versenyprogramjába választotta a Sarajevo FF, a Reykjavík FF és a Sofia Documental. Második filmje, a Csuja Lászlóval közösen jegyzett Szelíd, a 2022-es Sundance Filmfesztiválon mutatkozott be, Clevelandben és a GoEast Fesztiválon elnyerte a legjobb rendezés díját, valamint FIPRESCI-díjjal tüntették ki a Brüsszeli Filmfesztiválon, ahol a közönségdíjat is elnyerte.

Anna Nemes

Bio: 

Anna Nemes is a painter. Her first feature documentary, Beauty of the Beast, premiered in June 2022, at Sheffield DocFest. Her second film, Gentle, was in competition at Sundance Film Festival in 2022.

Dubinyák Réka

Bio: 

Dubinyák Réka budapesti forgatókönyvíró, aki miután jogi diplomát szerzett, a filmipar felé fordult. Dokumentumfilm-sorozatokat (Öregharcos, Együtt az Életért Egyesület: Én, te, ők, társadalmi célú rövidfilmeket (NANE- Nők a Nőkért Együtt az Erőszak Ellen Egyesület: A párkapcsolati erőszak figyelmeztető jele, 12 hét) és egész estés dokumentumfilmet is írt és rendezett már, emellett elkészítette az első saját online sorozatát „nofilter” címen. Az elmúlt években főleg a forgatókönyvírásra összpontosított. Írt TV-film forgatókönyvet és dologozott TV-sorozat írószobájában is. Jelenleg is több projekten dolgozik, a saját rövidfilmje fejlesztés alatt van.
