Micsoda érzés

In his artistic practice, Alex Baczyński-Jenkins explores the structures and politics of desire through gesture, addressing the issues of queer feelings, corporeality and relationality. His works were presented, among others, at the Venice Biennale, Kunsthalle Basel, Foksal Gallery Foundation, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Chisenhale Gallery in London. The artist is also a co-founder of the queer-feminist collective Kem. In 2019, he was nominated for the Polityka Passport award.

Ukrajna virágai

Adelina Borets forgatókönyvíró és rendező, az ukrajnai Mariupolban született. A varsói Filmfőiskolán rendezést a Wajda filmiskolában forgatókönyvírást végzett, jelenleg a katowicei Krzysztof Kieślowski Filmiskola rendezői mesterképzésén védi diplomamunkáját. Flowers of Ukraine

Adelina Borets is a screenwriter and director born in Mariupol, Ukraine. She is a graduate of directing at the Warsaw Film School and the Script course at the Wajda School, and is currently defending her master's degree thesis in directing at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice. Her debut documentary film The Wormwood Star (2018) won the Grand Prix and the audience award at the 15th International Ecological Festival EKOFILM, and the Grand Prix at the Golden Frames festival - International Festival of Short Fiction Films. The medium-length feature film Eden House (2021) was recognised as the best feature film at the Coal Film Festival in Katowice and was awarded the special critics‘ prize at the Critics’ Festival in Kiev.

Małgorzata Imielska lengyel dokumentum- és játékfilm rendező és író. All for My Mother (2019) című filmje a 2020-as IFF Dhaka keretén belül megnyerte a legjobb rendezőnek és a legjobb filmnek járó díjat. A Szerelem és üres szavak (2018) szintén számos elismerést kapott, többek között a hongkongi IFF nagydíját, az újdelhi IFF legjobb dokumentumfilm díját, a kalkuttai Nemzetközi Filmfesztivál legjobb női filmjének járó díjat, valamint az Ekran torontói lengyel filmfesztivál legjobb dokumentumfilmjének járó díjat.

Just Hear Me Out

Director and writer of documentaries and feature films, Małgorzata Imielska has garnered significant acclaim for her work. Her feature film All for My Mother won Best Director and Best Feature Film awards at the IFF Dhaka 2020. Her documentary Love and Empty Words (2018) has also received numerous accolades, including the Grand Prix at the Hong Kong IFF, Best Documentary Award at the IFF in New Delhi, Best Women’s Film at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival, and Best Documentary at the Ekran Toronto Polish Film Festival.

Neptun vihara

Katarina Stanković 1982-ben született Szerbiában. A San Francisco Művészeti Intézet és az amszterdami Gerrit Rietveld Akadémián végzett audiovizuális tanulmányok szakon 2005-ben, majd a kölni Médiaművészeti Akadémia filmtudományi szakán is diplomát szerzett 2011-ben. The Tempest of Neptun

Katarina Stanković was born in 1982 in Serbia. She graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute and Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in audio-visual studies as well as from Kunsthochschüle für Medien Köln in film directing. She has made several shorts and medium-length films that were screened in many international festivals (Berlinale, Locarno, Rotterdam) and that won awards and special mentions. The Tempest of Neptun (2024) is her debut feature-length documentary.

Agnieszka Zwiefka is an award-winning filmmaker. Her films The Queen of Silence (2014) and Scars (2020) were screened at festivals worldwide. Zwiefka creates films that border between documentary and fiction, balancing reality and fantasy. She is a member of European Film Academy and alumna of workshops Dok.Incubator, ScripTeast, Nipkow Programme and Berlinale Talents as well as Meryl Streep’s and Nicole Kidman’s The Writers Lab.
