After living in their flat for nearly seven decades, an elderly Polish couple is forced to move out. Maria is an extraordinary spirit full of indomitable will, optimism and vitality, but Tadeusz is a quiet scientist and fatalist. Now they must fight their existential disaster, which unveils the touching stories of their life together, and casts a shadow over their present.
