A díjnyertes alkotó Amber Fares rendezte a Speed Sisters és a Reckoning With Laughter c. filmeket, illetve a 2024-es Cannes Lions kreatívfilmes fesztivál szórakoztatás kategóriájának nagydíjával elismert We Are Ayendát. Társrendezője a Convergence: Courage Under Crisis című filmnek. Libanoni származású kanadai állampolgár, New Yorkban él.

Áttörni a sziklákon

Sara Khaki elnyerte a Sundance Filmfesztivál világ-dokumentumfilm kategóriájának nagydíját Áttörni a köveken című dokumentumfilmjével. Társrendezője a Guardianen streamelt Our Iranian Lockdown című filmnek, amely IDA-jelölést, illetve a Netflixes Convergencenek, amely Emmy-jelölést kapott. A Chicken & Egg Films és a Sundance Alumni tagja, a nemek közti egyenlőségről szóló történetek iránt elkötelezett filmrendező, producer és szerkesztő.

Mohammadreza Eyni elnyerte a Sundance Filmfesztivál világ-dokumentumfilm kategóriájának nagydíját Áttörni a köveken című dokumentumfilmjével. A Sundance és a Tribeca öregdiákja, filmrendező, producer és operatőr; határokon átívelő karrierje során filmes hozzáállásával az alulreprezentált hangok felerősítésére, a különböző globális nézőpontok összekapcsolására törekszik. A Gandom Films Production L.L.C. társalapítójaként Mohammadreza munkái IDA-jelölést és más nemzetközi elismerést szereztek.

Cutting Through Rocks

Sara Khaki is the Grand Jury Award winner of the world cinema documentary category of Sundance Film Festival for her feature documentary, Cutting Through Rocks. Her co-directed film, Our Iranian Lockdown, streaming on the Guardian, received an IDA nomination. Her co-directed Netflix original, Convergence, received an Emmy nomination. A Chicken & Egg Films and Sundance Alumni, Sara is a director, producer, and editor with dedication to stories about gender equity.

A Sundance and Tribeca Alumnus, Mohammadreza is a  director, producer, and cinematographer,  whose career and cinematic approach bridges boundaries and elevates underrepresented voices, connecting diverse perspectives globally. A co-founder of Gandom Films Production L.L.C., Mohammmadreza’s works have earned IDA nomination and international recognition.

Coexistence, My Ass!

Award-winning filmmaker Amber Fares directed Speed Sisters, Reckoning With Laughter, and We Are Ayenda, which won the 2024 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity Grand Prix for Entertainment. She co-directed Convergence: Courage Under Crisis. Fares is a Canadian of Lebanese origin based in New York.

Ehsan Khoshbakht iráni születésű Londonban élő rendező, kurátor és szerző. Filmfarsi (2019) című filmjét, amely a sah korának elveszett iráni filmművészetéről szól, a Gunpowder/Criterion adta ki az Egyesült Államokban és több mint 50 filmfesztiválon bemutatták. Több archív dokumentumfilmet is készített a BBC Persian-nak, köztük a Duke Ellington in Isfahan-t (2021) amit beválogattak a Telluride fesztivál programjába. Khoshbakht a bolognai Il Cinema Ritrovato társigazgatója, amely egy vezető filmtörténeti és filmrestaurálási fesztivál.

Ehsan Khoshbakht is an Iranian filmmaker, curator and author, based in London. His debut feature Filmfarsi (2019), about the lost Iranian cinema of the Shah’s era, was released in the US by Gunpowder/Criterion, and screened at over 50 film festivals and cinematheques around the world. He has also made several archive documentaries for BBC Persian, including Duke Ellington in Isfahan (2021), which was selected for Telluride. Khoshbakht is co-director of Il Cinema Ritrovato in Bologna, the world’s premier festival for film history and restoration.

Sahra Mosawi-Mani díjnyertes dokumentumfilm-rendező, egyetemi előadó, az Afghanistan Documentary House nevű cég alapítója. 2001-ben kezdett a médiában dolgozni azzal a céllal, hogy a médián keresztül jót cselekedjen. A londoni Művészeti Egyetemen szerezte mesterszakos diplomáját dokumentumfilm-rendezésből. Dokumentumfilmjei elsősorban szülőhazájáról, Afganisztánról szólnak, ahol nincs demokrácia és egyenlőség.

A Thousand Girls Like Me

Sahra Mosawi-Mani is an award-winning documentary flmmaker, university lecturer and the founder of the Afghanistan Documentary House. She started working in media in 2001 with the goal of using media as a catalyst for good. She has got her Masters Degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the University of the Arts in London. She focuses on creating documentaries centered around her country of origin, Afghanistan, which lacks democracy and equality.
