Jeroen Kooijmans holland művész 1995-ben végzett az amszterdami Gerrit Rietveld Akadémián. Azóta számos helyen élt, dolgozott és állított ki szerte a világon. Munkái bár alapvetően optimista hangvételűek, ne hagyják figyelmen kívül az élet sötét oldalát sem. Csodálatosan egyszerű filmek mellett komplex, többcsatornás videóinstallációkat készít hanggal és építészeti elemekkel kombinálva. Elnyerte 1998-ban az NPS Cultuurprijs-, 2007-ben pedig az Impakt Beam System Award-díjat. Részt vett 2000 és 2001 között a New York-i PS1/MoMa nemzetközi stúdióprogramjában, rezidens művész volt 2010-ben az amszterdami Építészeti Akadémiában, 2013 és 2014 között pedig az Instituto Buena Bista Curaçaónál.

Mestersége: a propaganda

Luuk Bouwman rendezője több egész estés dokumentumfilmnek, köztük az Aliona van der Horst-tal közösen jegyzett Gerlach, the Last Farmer (2023, IDFA legjobb holland film), a művész és kultikus zenész Dick Verdultról szóló It Is True But Not Here (2017), valamint a fasizmus hollandiai térnyerését bemutató All Against All (2019), amely az IDFA-n debütált, és elnyerte az IDFA Stipend 2023-díjat. Dokumentumfilmjeit alapos kutatómunka és a téma iránti hosszú távú, folyamatokat és mechanizmusokat feltáró elkötelezettség jellemzi.

Hazai pálya

Lidija Zelović író és rendező az egykori Jugoszláviából származik, jelenleg Hollandiában él. A Zelovic Film kreatív producere, korábban a BBC és a Channel 4 executive producere és kutatója volt. Dokumentumfilmjeiről ismert, első filmje, a My Own Private War (2016) számos díjat nyert. A Hazai pálya a második dokumentumfilmje. 

Szerződés kilenc hónapra

Ketevan Vashagashvili Tbilisziben élő dokumentumfilm-rendező. Volt Chevening-ösztöndíjas, a Sussex-i Egyetemen (Egyesült Királyság) szerzett diplomát digitális dokumentumfilmek szakon. Társadalmi és emberi jogi ügyekkel foglalkozik. Grúz tévécsatornáknál és online platformoknál dokumentumfilmek és egyéb műsorok készítésével mintegy tizennégy évnyi rendezői és produceri tapasztalatra tett szert.

Love-22-Love

Jeroen Kooijmans is a Dutch artist. In 1995 he graduated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Since then he has lived, worked and exhibited in many places all over het world.The fundamental nature of Kooijmans’ work is optimistic, yet the dark side of life is not ignored. Wonderfully simple films exist alongside complex installations of video projections combined with sound and architectural elements. In 1998 Jeroen Kooijmans was awarded the NPS Cultuurprijs and in 2007 he won the Impakt Beam System Award. In 2001/2001 he was part of The International Studio Program of the PS1/MoMa in New York. As artist in residence Kooijmans was associated with the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture in 2010. In 2013/2014 he worked as artist in residence with the Instituto Buena Bista Curaçao.

The Propagandist

Luuk Bouwman has made several feature-length documentaries, including GERLACH, THE LAST FARMER (2023, IDFA Best Dutch Film Award) with Aliona van der Horst, IT IS TRUE BUT NOT HERE (2017) about artist and cult musician Dick Verdult and ALL AGAINST ALL (2019) about the rise of fascism in the Netherlands, which premiered at IDFA and for which he was awarded the IDFA Stipend 2023. His documentaries are driven by extensive research and long-term engagement with his subjects, revealing processes and mechanisms.

Home Game

Lidija Zelović is a writer and director from the former Yugoslavia now based in the Netherlands. She is the creative producer at Zelovic Film, and has worked as an executive producer and researcher for the BBC and Channel 4. Known for documentaries, her first film, My Own Private War (2016) was the recipient of numerous awards. Home Game is her second documentary.

9-Month Contract

Ketevan Vashagashvili is a documentary filmmaker based in Tbilisi. She is a Chevening alumna with an MA in Digital Documentary from the University of Sussex (UK). Her main interest lies in social and human rights issues. Ketevan has 14 years of experience working at various Georgian TV channels and online platforms, directing and producing TV documentaries and programmes.

Mese a három lángról

Juliette Menthonnex a svájci ECAL egyetemen szerzett alapdiplomát Filmművészet szakon. Early Years (2021) című rövidfilmjét számos nemzetöki fesztiválon bemutatták. 2022-ben mesterdiplomát szerzett az Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Docnomads program dokumentumfilmes képzésén. Legújabb filmje a Mese a három lángról (2023) a Dok Leipzig fesztiválon debütált.

Tale of the Three Flames

Juliette Menthonnex graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema at ECAL (École Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne). Her short film Early Years (2021) screened at several international festivals. In 2022 she graduated with a Master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Docnomads (based in Lisbon, Budapest and Brussels). Tale of the Three Flames (2023) is her most recent film and premiered at Dok Leipzig.
