Suhaib Gasmelbari 1979-ben született Szudánban, ahol 16 éves koráig élt. A francia Saint-Denis-i Vincennes Egyetemen színházművészetet tanult. Talking About Trees

Suhaib Gasmelbari was born in 1979, in Sudan, where he lived until the age of 16. He attended Cinema Studies in France at the University of Paris VIII. He has written and directed several short films, both fiction and documentary. He is also a researcher and was able to find long-lost Sudanese films, and actively takes part in saving and digitizing the works of Sudanese cinema.

A nevem Silvia

Benyo eredeti nevén, Max Hegewaldként 2005 óta dolgozik színészként és 2007 óta játszik a berlini Volksbühne színházban. Benyo művésznéven rendez és ír. A potsdami Babelsberg Filmegyetemen végzett, 2016-os vizsgafilmje a Silvia volt. Jelenleg a Blackbird című első filmjén, és egy Claudia Rinkes regény, a The Bride adaptációján dolgozik, valamint a felnőttéválást megjelenítő Tinnitus című színdarabon.

Silvia Is My Name

Benyo has worked as an actor under his real name, Max Hegewald, since 2005, and has acted at the Volksbühne Berlin theatre since 2007. He directs and writes under the pseudonym Benyo. In 2016 he graduated in screenwriting from the Filmuniversity Babelsberg Potsdam with his graduation film, Silvia. He is currently developing his debut film, Blackbird, and is working on an adaptation of Claudia Rinkes' novel, The Bride, as well as a coming-of-age drama, Tinnitus. He will graduate from the Hamburg Mediaschool as a director.

For Your Sake

Ronja Hemm grew up in Bamberg, and studied time-based media at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. During her studies she devoted herself mainly to documentary formats. The documentary For Your Sake is her graduation film.
