Myeong-im packs clothes and food before departing for Paengmok Harbor. She heads to Jindo Island, leaving behind the familiar scenery that she has passed countless times over the past decade. She arrives at the temporary container building with the rusty signboard written ‘Truth does not sink’, unpacks, and organizes her surroundings. The other parents who have come also start to get organized. The camera captures the memorial hall, and the stories of the parents. About waiting, about protecting the old, cold, lonely Paengmok Harbor.
