Redlight to Limelight
From Kolkata’s red-light district to the silver screen, Redlight to Limelight follows CAM-ON — a self-taught filmmaking collective of sex workers and their children — as they use cinema to reclaim their stories and challenge generations of stigma. Told from within, through vérité and self-shot footage, this powerful documentary is both a creative uprising and a deeply human portrait of resilience, agency, and the radical force of storytelling.
