Rand Beiruty író, rendező és a jordániai Ammánban működő Shaghab Films produkciós cég társalapítója. A babelsbergi Konrad Wolf Filmművészeti Egyetemen szerzett doktori fokozatot, itt a reprezentáció és részvételi filmezés kérdéseivel és gyakorlatával foglalkozott. Tell Them About Us

Rand Beiruty is a writer, director, and co-founder of Shaghab Films, a production company based in Amman, Jordan. She holds a practice-based Ph.D. revolving around questions of representation and participatory filmmaking from the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. She has pitched her projects on international platforms and received awards from, among others, the Tribeca Film Institute, Mifa Animation du Monde, the Arab Cinema Center, and the European Network of Young Cinema. Her debut feature documentary Tell Them About Us (2024) premiered at CPH:DOX and received the ECFA Award for Best European Feature Documentary for Young Audience at the 64th Zlín International Film Festival.

Ruth Beckermann is a filmmaker and writer was born in Vienna, Austria. Her film Those Who Go Those Who Stay won Best Documentary at the 2014 Diagonale in Graz. Two years later, The Dreamed Ones won Best Feature Film at the same festival. The Waldheim Waltz received several prizes including the Glashütte Original – Documentary Award at the 2018 Berlinale and was also nominated as Austria’s entry for the Oscars. In 2022, Mutzenbacher screened in the Encounters section of the Berlinale where it won the award for Best Film.

Director, producer, writer and cinematographer, Nikolaus Geyrhalter was born in Vienna, Austria in 1972. Geyrhalter's static-camera, well-paced observational films tackle their subjects head-on, whether it's exploring the terrain in Chernobyl, Ukraine (Pripyat), tracing the route of the Dakar Rally (7915 Km), or investigating the production of processed foods (Our Daily Bread). At the age of 22, Geyrhalter started his own production company, Nikolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion (NGF). Geyrhalter examined night labor in Europe with Abendland (2011) and landscapes of urban decay across the world in Homo Sapiens (2016). The latter film played at the Berlinale Forum, the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Cinéma du Réel Festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and the Viennale. In 2015, Berlin's Arsenal Cinema programmed a retrospective dedicated to his work. The 38th Cinéma du Réel Festival programmed a sidebar on his documentaries. Geyrhalter's films have also screened at the Museum of Modern Art's Doc Fortnight.

Girl Gang

Susanne Regina Meures was born in 1977, in Germany. She studied photography and art history at The Courtauld Institute of Art in London. She holds a Master in Film from ZHdK. Raving Iran, her first feature-length documentary, brought her international festival and box-office success. The film screened at countless festivals and won numerous awards. Saudi Runaway premiered at Sundance, and among other prizes, was nominated for the European Film Award in 2020. Girl Gang is her third feature-length documentary.

Nagyi projekt

Révész Bálint gyerekszínészként került a filmiparba, az egyetem után vágóként, íróként, producerként és rendezőként is dolgozik. 2012-ben végzett a University of Brighton hallgatójaként, dél-koreai és japán díjakkal. Produkciós cége, a Gallivant Film játékfilmeket, dokumentumfilmeket gyárt, valamint nemzetközi koprodukciókat fejleszt. Nagyi projekt című filmje nemzetközi premierjét a DOK Leipzig Filmfesztiválon tartották, ahol elnyerte az MDR-díjat.

Granny Project

Bálint Révész started working in the film industry as a child actor. After university he became an editor, writer, producer and director. In 2012 he graduated at the University of Brighton, and had already received awards in South Korea and Japan. His production company, the Gallivant Film, produces feature films, documentaries and develops international co-productions. His film Granny Project premiered internationally at DOK Leipzig and won the MDR award.
