Heather White a www.verite.org alapítója és ügyvezető igazgatója (1995-2005). Federico Biasin operatőr, producer és rendező; Giorgio Ferrero zeneszerző, rendező és fényképész. Ők ketten voltak az olasz nyertesei a Velencei Biennále 2016-os Biennale College-díjának. A vitatkozás művészete

Gereon Wetzel 1972-ben született Bonnban. A Heidelbergi Egyetemen régészetből szerzett diplomát, Münchenben pedig dokumentumfilm-készítést tanult. Jelenleg Münchenben él és szabadúszó filmesként dolgozik.

Melanie Liebheit szoicálantropológiát tanult Münchenben és Manchesterben, valamint dokumentumfilm-készítést Münchenben. 2011 és 2011 között a Documentary Campusnál dolgozott. 2007-ben a Nonfiktionale Dokumentumfilm Fesztivál társalapítója volt Bad Aiblingban, Németországban, melyet 2016 óta Tamara Daniciccsal igazgatnak.

Welcome to Sodom

Christian Krönes filmrendezői tanulmányai során legendás operatőrökkel dolgozhatott együtt mint Vittorio Storaro és Sven Nykvist. 1985-ben az osztrák tévéhez szerződött, ahol sokféle tévés műfajban alkotott. 1990-ben az egyik legjelentősebb német tévéadónál kezdett dolgozni, és ezzel egy időben felépíteni saját médiacégét Bécsben. 2006-ban megalapította a Blackbox Filmet több mint 30 éves filmes tapasztalattal, jelenleg is ott dolgozik igazgatóként és producerként.

Florian Weigensamer a Bécsi Egyetemen tanult politológiát és kommunikációt. 1995-ben csatlakozott a Vienna News International szerkesztői csapatához, ahol számos riportot és dokumentumfilmet rendezett európai csatornák számára. Később Christian Krönes-szel gyártották és rendezték az Arte politikai és társadalmi riport- és dokumentumfilmjeit Közép-Kelet-Európáról és Ázsiáról. Ezzel egy időben multimédiás anyagokon is dolgozott múzeumok és kiállítások számára. A Blackbox-Collective alapító tagja, alkotója és rendezője 2006 óta.

The Workers Cup

Adam Sobel is a writer and filmmaker living in Qatar. In 2013 he made a documentary series following the first woman from Saudi Arabia to climb Mt. Everest. The series won a 2014 CINE Golden Eagle. Since 2013 Adam has served as an advisor for Northwestern University in Qatar's film grant program.

Workingman's Death

Michael Glawogger was born in Graz, Austria, and studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and the Vienna Film Academy. He started as an assistant camera operator, and later worked as a cinematographer, screenwriter, and director. He made numerous internationally-acclaimed shorts, documentaries, and feature films. He had recently devoted himself to literary writing. Michael Glawogger died in Monrovia, Liberia, in April of 2014 while shooting Untitled.

Liberation Day

Ugis Olte is a Latvian director and editor. He has created numerous original TV formats, music videos, ads, three short fiction films (The Red Spot, KK2678 and King Of The Wild Things), and the documentaries Stuck in Stikine (2007), Double Aliens (2015) and the co-directed Liberation Day (2016).

Morten Traavik is a Norwegian director and artist working across a wide spectrum of artistic genres. Trained as a theater director in Russia and Sweden, the notion of the world as a stage and identity as role play, as well as a characteristically blurred distinction between art, activism and social issues, has never been far away from his works.

The Island

Adam Weingrod is a graduate of the MFA program in Film at Tel Aviv University. His feature documentary, The Island, won Best Student Film at the Israeli Documentary Film Awards in 2017, and was screened in several international film festivals. He is currently working on his next documentary feature.

Granny Project

Bálint Révész started working in the film industry as a child actor. After university he became an editor, writer, producer and director. In 2012 he graduated at the University of Brighton, and had already received awards in South Korea and Japan. His production company, the Gallivant Film, produces feature films, documentaries and develops international co-productions. His film Granny Project premiered internationally at DOK Leipzig and won the MDR award.

Freedom for the Wolf

Rupert Russell holds a PhD from Harvard University, where he was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. He is currently working on a series of animated short films, How the World Went Mad, about the rise of political insanity, for the documentary streaming platform, Yaddo. Freedom For The Wolf is his first feature documentary.
