Stefanie Brockhaus müncheni független rendező. Londonban a Művészeti Egyetemen végzett 2002-ben film és televízió alapszakon, majd 2016-ban a müncheni film- és televíziószakon. Számos díjnyertes dokumentumfilmen dolgozott producerként és rendezőként.

Andreas Wolff Los Angelesben tanult a USC filmművészeti doktori programján és a müncheni HFF Tévé és Film Egyetemen. Első filmjét, az On the Other Side of Life-ot, amit Stefanie Brockhaus-szal rendezett együtt, 2010-ben mutatták be az SXSW fesztiválon. Második egész estés dokumentumfilmje, a The Captain and His Pirate (2013), megnyerte a német kameradíjat a legjobb vágásért a Berlinálén, valamint további díjakat Lipcsében, Zágrábban, Saarbruckenben, Münchenben és Brüsszelben.

Leonard Retel Helmrich Hollandiában született 1959-ben. 1986-ban végzett a Holland Film- és Televízió Akadémián. Filmjeit világszerte vetítették és ismerték el filmfesztiválokon, rengeteg rangos dokumentumfilmes díjat gyűjtött be, úgymint a Sundance dokumentumfilmes nagydíját 2005-ben, a zsűri dokumentumfilmes különdíját 2011-ben, és a neves Joris Ivens-díjat Amszterdamban 2004-ben és 2010-ben.

Adam Weingrod a Tel Aviv-i Egyetem filmkészítő mesterszakán diplomázott. Egész estés dokumentumfilmje, a The Island elnyerte az Izraeli Dokumentumfilm Gálán a legjobb diákfilm díját 2017-ben, majd eljutott számos nemzetközi filmfesztiválra. Jelenleg a következő egész estés dokumentumfilmjén dolgozik.

Rana Abu Fraiha a jeruzsálemi Bezalel Egyetem építészszakán végzett 2012-ben, majd filmszakán 2015-ben. 2016-ban rendezett és vágott egy videót, a Residues-t, a haifai Beit HaGefen Központ Vanishing Point című kiállítása részeként. Filmet és művészetet tanít fiataloknak.

The Workers Cup

Adam Sobel is a writer and filmmaker living in Qatar. In 2013 he made a documentary series following the first woman from Saudi Arabia to climb Mt. Everest. The series won a 2014 CINE Golden Eagle. Since 2013 Adam has served as an advisor for Northwestern University in Qatar's film grant program.

In Her Footsteps

Rana Abu Fraiha graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design with a degree in Architecture in 2012, and finished her study in video at Bezalel’s Screen Arts Department in 2015. In 2016 she directed and edited a video, Residues, for the "Vanishing Point" exhibition in Beit HaGefen, Haifa, Israel. She currently teaches film and arts to young people.

The Island

Adam Weingrod is a graduate of the MFA program in Film at Tel Aviv University. His feature documentary, The Island, won Best Student Film at the Israeli Documentary Film Awards in 2017, and was screened in several international film festivals. He is currently working on his next documentary feature.

The Long Season

Leonard Retel Helmrich was born in the Netherlands, in 1959. He graduated from the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in 1986. Retel Helmrich’s films have screened and won acclaim at film festivals worldwide, and have won major documentary film awards including: the Sundance inaugural Grand World Documentary Award 2005, the Special Jury Award for World Documentary 2011, and the prestigious Grand Joris Ivens Award, IDFA Amsterdam 2004 and 2010.

The Poetess

Stefanie Brockhaus is an independent filmmaker from Munich. She graduated from London College of Communications, University of the Arts with a BA in Film and Television in 2002, and the Munich University of Television and Film in 2016. She has worked on numerous awarded documentaries as a producer and director.

Andreas Wolff studied at USC's Graduate School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, and at HFF University for TV and Film in Munich. His debut On the Other Side of Life, co-directed with Stefanie Brockhaus, premiered in 2010 at SXSW film festival. His second feature documentary, The Captain and His Pirate (2013) won the German Camera Award for Best Editing at Berlinale and further awards in Leipzig, Zagreb, Saarbrucken, Munich and Brussels.

Raven

Shukri Muhammad Mahmood was born in 1985 in Duhok. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in 2008, and from the Theatre Department of the University of Duhok in 2014.
