Gilles Porte is a director of photography as well as a film director. He has worked as a director of photography on around 30 films, directed by Jacques Audiard, Raoul Ruiz, Xavier Durringer, Safy Nebbou, Frédéric Beigbeder, Xavier Gens and Marc Dugain. Since 2018 he has served as president of the Association française des directeurs de la photographie.
