Askold Kurov Üzbegisztánban született és Oroszországban él 1991 óta. A moszkvai Marina Razbezhkina Filmiskolában szerezte a diplomáját dokumentumfilm-készítésből. Georgij Molodtsov díjnyertes filmrendező és producer, aki 360/VR tartalmakra specializálódott, illetve VR eseményeket szervez olyan filmfesztiválokon, ahol 360 fokos videókat is bemutatnak. Társalapítója a VRability társadalmi projektnek és az orosz VR Seasons kezdeményezésnek. A goEast Filmfesztivál Open Frame díjának, valamint a svédországi RV Tudományos Fesztiválnak a kurátora.

Milyen nagy a világegyetem?

Kszenyia Elijan 2000 óta dolgozik dokumentumfilmek, tévéműsorok, reklámok és egyéb videós produkciók vágójaként. Ezenfelül filmrendező és operatőr. Marina Razbezskina és Mihail Ugarov moszkvai dokumentumfilmes és színházi iskolájában szerzett diplomát dokumentumfilm-rendezőként 2010-ben.

A forradalom évfordulója

David Abelevich Kaufman (Denis Kaufman; művészi álnevén Dziga Vertov) rendező, forgatókönyvíró és a dokumentumfilm esztétája, kifejezési nyelvének egyik megalkotója. 1918-ban jelent meg a szovjet dokumentumfilm világában. A forradalom adott neki ihletet, kísérletező és újító szelleméről vált ismertté. Vertov filmjei: A világ egyhatoda (1926), Lelkesedés (A Don-medence szimfóniája) (1930), Három dal Leninről (1934), és különösen az Ember a felvevőgéppel (1929) dokumentumfilmesek generációinak lettek a példaképei. Filmezési módszerei és elméletei nagy hatást gyakoroltak a cinéma vérité-stílusú dokumentumfilmezésre, és különösen az úgynevezett Dziga Vertov-csoportra, a 60-as évek radikális filmes kollektívájára.

Dmitri Vologdin was born in Russia in 1988. He graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television with a degree in Film and TV Directing, and studied at the Cinema School of Krzysztof Zanussi in Warsaw.

Ksenia Elyan has been a professional editor of documentaries, TV programs, commercials and other video productions for nearly two decades. She has experience as a film director and DoP. In 2010, she graduated as a documentary director from Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov’s School of Documentary Film and Theater, in Moscow.

Anniversary of the Revolution

David Abelevich Kaufman (Denis Kaufman; pseudonym Dziga Vertov) was a director, screenwriter, and theoretician of documentary film, one of the creators of its language. He came to Soviet documentary film in 1918, inspired by the ideas of the revolution, and became known as a vivid innovator and experimenter. Vertov’s films One Sixth of the World (1926), Enthusiasm: Symphony of the Donbass (1930), Three Songs about Lenin (1934), and especially Man with a Movie Camera (1929) remain models for generations of documentary filmmakers. His filming practices and theories influenced the cinéma vérité style of documentary moviemaking and the Dziga Vertov Group, a radical filmmaking cooperative which was active in the 1960s.
