Adam Weingrod izraeli független filmrendező. A Steve Tisch TAU Film Tanszék MFA programjának végzettje. A "The Island" (2017) című 60 perces dokumentumfilm rendezője, amely a yesDocu csatorna megbízásából készült, számos filmfesztiválon, köztük a Docavivon és a Santa Barbarán is vetítettek. A film számos díjat nyert, többek között 2020-ban a Verzió Emberi Jogi Fesztiválon a legjobb debütáló film díját, valamint a legjobb diákfilm díjat az Israeli Documentary Forum Awards-on. Adam számos rövidfilmet is rendezett, például az “I See You” (2023) című filmet, amelyet a Jeruzsálemi Filmfesztiválon mutatták be, és amelyet a KAN11 izraeli köztévé sugároz majd. Legújabb munkája, a "Spots of Light" (2023) a 2023-as Velencei Filmfesztiválon tartotta világpremierjét.

Spots of Light

Adam Weingrod is an independent filmmaker from Israel. Graduate of the Steve Tisch TAU Film Dept. MFA program. "The Island" (2017), a 60-minute documentary, is an award-winning film commissioned by the yesDocu channel and has been screened at numerous film festivals, including Docaviv and Santa Barbara. The film won several awards, including Best Debut Film at the Verzio Human Rights Festival and Best Student Film at the Israeli Documentary Forum Awards. Adam has also directed several shorts, such as "I See You" (2023, documentary) that premiered at the Jerusalem Film Festival and will air on Israel's public TV channel KAN11. "And There Will Be Fire" (2018, documentary), Epos Art Film Festival at the Tel Aviv Museum. "Funjoya" (2016, fiction) won the Audience Award at the Tel Aviv Student Film Festival. His latest work "Spots of Light" held its world premiere at the 2023 Venice Film Festival.

Yael és én

Danna Levy 1991-ben született, Ramat Ganban nőtt fel. Az izraeli Sapir Egyetemen BA fokozatot szerzett forgatókönyvíró szakon. Tanulmányai során Sderotban lakott, és különböző önkéntes munkákban vett részt. Az ott szerzett tapasztalatok segítették megismernie a várost és lakóit. Yaelhez fűződő kapcsolata a hétköznapok dokumentálására késztette, amely szinte természetes módon alakította kettejük párkapcsolatát egy közös dokumentumfilmmé. Az ebből született Yael és én (Unwell Mind) végzős vizsgafilmje.

Unwell Mind

Danna Levy was born in 1991, and was raised in Ramat Gan. She graduated with a BA in film and scriptwriting from Sapir College. She resided and volunteered in Sderot throughout her studies. These experiences taught her about the city and its inhabitants. Her acquaintance with Yael provided the urge to document, which, in an almost natural manner, altered their relationship into a documentary film. Unwell Mind is her graduation film.

Shiri Zsuzsa szociológát és történelmet tanult az ELTÉ-n, a Tel Aviv-i Egyetemen szerzett MFA diplomát. 1992 óta él Izraelben, 2003 óta dolgozik újságíróként. 2006-tól a Kossuth Rádió izraeli tudósítója volt. 2011 óta az MTVA izraeli tudósítója. 

Wizner Balázs (1972) szociológus, dokumentumfilm-készítő. Korábban az MTA Szociológia Intézetének kutatója, majd a Metaforum Film Stúdió vezetőjeként dokumentumfilmeket, társadalmi célú reklámokat készített. Jelenleg videós újságíróként (AFP), operatőrként dolgozik dokumentumfilmekben és oral history kutatásokban.

Sabbath in Shadow

Zsuzsa Shiri studied sociology and history in ELTE in Budapest and received MFA in TAU. She is living in Israel since 1992, and works as journalist from 2003. From 2006 she was the Israeli correspondent of the Hungarian radio channel Kossuth Radio, and since 2011 she is the Israeli correspondent at the  Media Services and Support Trust Fund, MTVA, the Hungarian public-service broadcasting company.

Balázs Wizner (1972) is a sociologist and documentary film director. He worked for the Institute of Sociology in the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He made documentary films and public service commercials as the head of Metaforum Film Studio. He currently works as a video journalist for AFP, as director of photography in documentary films and in oral history research projects.

Ada Ushpiz izreali filmkészítő és újságíró az 1970-es évek óta íróként, rendezőként és producerként dolgozik olyan dokumentumfilmekben, amelyek a jelenkori Izrael ellentmondásaira és az ország társadalmi és történelmi kontextusára hívják fel a figyelmet. 1970-ben a Tel Aviv-i Egyetemen filozófiából és irodalomból BA fokozatot szerzett, majd 1974-ben a Londoni Filmiskolában filmrendezés szakon diplomázott, továbbá történelemből doktori fokozattal is rendelkezik. 1969 és 1999 között a Ha’aretz izraeli napilap tudósítója és szerkesztője volt.

Children

Since the 1970s Israeli filmmaker and journalist Ada Ushpiz has been writing, directing, and producing documentaries on the ambiguities of contemporary Israel and its social and historical surroundings. In 1970, she received her BA in philosophy and literature from the University of Tel Aviv, graduated with a diploma in Film Direction from the London Film School in 1974, and also holds a doctorate in history. From 1969 to 1999 she worked as a reporter and editor for Israel’s daily newspaper Ha’aretz.

Az ügyvéd

Rachel Leah Jones elsimert dokumentumfilmes, munkái középpontjában Izrael és Palesztína áll. Társadalmi nemek tanulmánya szakon diplomázott, majd dokumentumfilm-készítésből szerzett mesterfokozatú diplomát. Saját filmjein kívül számtalan más produkción is dolgozott, és olyan progresszív médiaorgánumokkal is együttműködött, mint a New York-i Democracy Now! hírcsatorna.

Advocate

Rachel Leah Jones is a critically-acclaimed documentary filmmaker whose work focuses on Israel/Palestine. She has a BA in Race, Class and Gender Studies, and a MFA in Documentary Media Arts. In addition to making her own films, Jones has produced extensively with others, and has been affiliated with progressive media outlets such as DEMOCRACY NOW! in New York.

Born in France, Philippe Bellaiche is an award-winning cinematographer. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière and the Sorbonne, Bellaiche, a cinematography lecturer and master-class instructor, received the Israel Cinema Arts Award in 2013.
