A palesztin gyökerű jordániai rendező és producer Dina Naser BA diplomáját grafikusként szerezte. 2013-ban bekerült a DocNomads ösztöndíjasok közé, hogy ott folytassa a dokumentumfilmes MA-t. Naser dokumentumfilmesi elhivatottságát leginkább az első ránézésre átlagemberek tüzelik fel, illetve történetek a hazájáról, Palesztináról.

A Szíriában született Saeed Al Batal amatőr újságíró, fotós és filmes. Számos tanfolyamot tartott fényképezés és újságírás témakörben, és külügyi riporterként dolgozik Szíriában rengeteg külföldi ügynökségnek, rádióadónak és intézménynek. Az egyik alapítója a Sam Lenses online galériának és a Humans of Syria projektnek.

A Szíriában született Ghiath Ayoub dokumentumfilmes és képzőművész. 2013-ban végzett a Damaszkuszi Egyetem képzőművészet szakán. Társalapítója jónéhány Nyitott tér konferenciának Bejrutban. Részt vesz különböző civil kezdeményezésekben, mint például a Humans in Syria, illetve grafikusi munkákban és filmekben, melyek online közvetítésre készülnek és világszerte jelenik meg munkája kiállításokon.

Tiny Souls

A Jordanian director and producer with Palestinian roots, Dina Naser graduated with a BA in Art and Graphic Design. In 2013, she received the DocNomads scholarship to pursue a Master's Degree in Documentary Filmmaking. Naser’s devotion for documenting is inspired by seemingly ordinary people and stories that spring from her homeland in Palestine.

Born in Syria, Saeed Al Batal is a citizen journalist, photographer and filmmaker. He has led numerous trainings in photography and news reporting, and has worked as a reporter on current affairs in Syria for agencies, radio stations and institutions worldwide. He is one of the founders of the online gallery, Sam Lenses, and the Humans of Syria project.

Born in Syria, Ghiath Ayoub is a filmmaker and visual artist. He graduated from the faculty of Fine Arts at the University Damascus in 2013. He co-founded a number of open spaces across Beirut. Ayoub also participates in various civil society initiatives, such as Humans of Syria, graphic design work and films that have been featured online and in exhibition spaces globally.

Benoit Felici francia-olasz dokumentumfilmes. Az olasz Zelig Filmiskolában végzett. Unfinished Italy című filmjében félig befejezett épületek és intézmények között utazik szerte a vidéki Olaszországban. The Real Thing című filmjében pedig építészeti másolatokat keres fel, és az utánzatok között rátalál a bennük élők való életére.

Agnès Varda was born in Ixelles, Belgium in 1928. She studied at the École du Louvre and took evening classes in photography at the École de Vaugirard. She became a photographer for Jean Vilar when he founded the Avignon Theater Festival in 1948, then for the Théâtre National Populaire at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris. She held her first personal exhibition in 1954 in the courtyard of her home. That same year, Agnès Varda made the move to cinema without any formal training. She founded Ciné Tamaris (a cooperative) to produce and direct her first feature, La Pointe Courte. She directed short films and features, both fiction and documentaries. In 2003, she began her third career as a visual artist at the Venice Biennale.

Amíg apa haza nem ér

Mari Gulbiani grúz rendező és forgatókönyvíró. A Tbilisi Állami Egyetemen filológiát, az Állami Színház és Filmművészeti Egyetemen pedig rendezést tanult. 2006 és 2010 között az Ateliers Varan párizsi filmakadémián további tapasztalatokkal mélyítette tudását. 2007-ben megalapította a Midifilm nevű produkciós irodáját. A tbilisi CineDoc dokumentumfilm fesztiválon programszervezője, és a CineDoc Ifjúsági részlegének szekció kordinátora volt.
