Máté Bartha is a Budapest-based visual artist working in photography and documentary film. He graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design with a Master's degree in photography and later studied documentary filmmaking at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest. His work combines documentary observation, staged situations and visual experimentation. His Kontakt series received the Robert Capa Grand Prize Hungary in 2018 and the Louis Roederer Discovery Award at the Rencontres d’Arles in 2019.

Bernadett Benkó is a final-year MA student in Documentary Film Directing at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest. Her work explores personal stories, family relationships and memory, as well as questions of identity, authenticity and our relationship to social norms. She often works with family archive footage, combining observational documentary filmmaking with a personal, essayistic perspective.

Kitti Fődi is a Hungarian journalist and documentary filmmaker. She studied media and communication in Budapest and documentary filmmaking in Norway. As a video journalist, she has focused primarily on social issues including education, poverty, healthcare, and disability. Bakpakk is her first documentary film.

Martin Herr is a Hungarian filmmaker who graduated from the international DocNomads documentary programme in 2025. Before turning to filmmaking, he worked as a video journalist at Partizán. His work explores the space between the personal and the social, often blending intimate observation with experimental forms.

Ákos K. Kovács is a Hungarian filmmaker and director whose work includes documentary, music and fiction projects. His documentary work often focuses on cultural communities and contemporary Hungarian social realities. He directed Színház sárból and is also one of the directors of the upcoming feature Extázis Uncut.

Dorottya Márton is a Budapest-based documentary and experimental filmmaker. She studied documentary film directing at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest and often works with personal archives, found footage and unconventional documentary forms. Her films explore intimate social questions through a highly personal visual approach.

Attila Ponczók is a Hungarian documentary filmmaker and producer. He previously worked as a producer on Ghetto Balboa, which premiered in competition at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2018. Papa is his feature directorial debut and grew out of his family’s own experience with the Hungarian elderly care system.

Dáša Raimanová is a Slovakia-born, London- and Berlin-based documentary filmmaker whose work explores socio-political issues, particularly the experiences of women and minorities. Her films include Polyland and Across the Road – Worlds Apart.

Sára Timár is a Hungarian filmmaker, photographer and historian. She holds a Master's degree in History from ELTE University and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, and later studied photography and fine arts at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. Her photographic work has been exhibited internationally, and Under the Dance Floor is her debut documentary feature.

Olivér Márk Tóth is a Hungarian journalist and documentary filmmaker. He has worked as a video journalist for Hungarian and German media outlets and has been making documentaries since 2017, often focusing on rebellious and unconventional characters. His work has received the Hégető Honorka Award, and Meant to Be is his first feature-length documentary.

Béla Váradi is a UK-based Romani photographer and visual artist whose documentary practice focuses on identity, inequality, human rights and the politics of representation.
