On the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Tanyaszínház (Farm Theatre) in Vojvodina, two of the company’s legendary founders reunite: director György Hernyák and actor Frigyes Kovács. Through the rehearsal process of a new production, Ákos K. Kovács’s film revisits the history of Tanyaszínház while also portraying the community and cultural milieu from which it emerged. The film is at once a story about theatre, Hungarian identity in Vojvodina, tradition, and the power of artistic freedom.
