Coral Love

Lee Sojeong was born in 1993, based in Seoul and Amsterdam. Her interest stems from her working experience as a film technician. She has been developing the methodology to create alternative narratives.

Still Waiting at Paengmok

Director Jueun Jang pays attention to expanding the subject starting from the inner story of humans to social messages through documentary. " Still Waiting at Paengmok" (2024) focuses on observing the daily lives of the bereaved of the disaster, exploring the nature of separation, and raising public awareness of social issues.

K-Family Affairs

Arum Nam is a documentary director based in Seoul, South Korea. Currently pursuing a master's degree in documentary at the Korea National University of Arts. She directed a short documentary called Pink Femi, which tells the story of a feminist mother, and co-directed Teleporting with Japanese directors during the pandemic. K-Family Affairs is her first feature documentary.

Hyewon Jee works has worked in the Korean television industry since 1995 as a commissioning editor for a nationwide broadcasting network. In 2008, she established a production company, Upright Media, with her partner, Wooyong Song. She has produced and directed many TV documentaries about culture, history, and human interest stories, and won numerous awards. Singing with Angry Bird is her first feature documentary.

Gina Kim is a writer and director whose five feature films and works of video art have screened at over 150 prestigious international film festivals and venues such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, and Sundance, as well as MoMa, Centre Pompidou, and the Smithsonian. Praised by Le Figaro as a “fearless feminist who conceals an extreme sensitivity,” Kim’s Invisible Light (2003) was selected as one of the 10 best films of 2003 by Film Comment. Never Forever (2007), starring Jung-woo Ha and Vera Farmiga, was the first co-production between the United States and South Korea. Kim’s latest work Bloodless (2017) won the Best VR Story Award at the 74th Venice International Film Festival, followed by international acclaim and numerous awards and nominations. Kim’s films have been theatrically released to critical acclaim in Europe, Asia, and the US. Kim is a professor at UCLA.
