Nikolaus Geyrhalter rendező, producer, író és operatőr, 1972-ben született Bécsben. Statikus kamerával készült, dinamikus megfigyelőfilmjei testközelből foglalkoznak adott témáikkal, legyen az Csernobil területének megfigyelése (Pripyat), a Dakar-rali útvonalának nyomonkövetése (7915 km) vagy a feldolgozott élelmiszerek előállításának feltárása (Our Daily Bread). Nikolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion (NGF) néven 22 évesen saját produkciós céget alapított. Abendland (2011) című filmjében az éjszakai munkát vizsgálta Európában, a Homo Sapiens-ben (2016) pedig a városi hanyatlás színtereit szerte a világon. Ez utóbbi alkotását a Berlinale Forumon, a Hongkongi Nemzetközi Filmfesztiválon, a Cinéma du Réel Fesztiválon, az Edinburgh-i Nemzetközi Filmfesztiválon, a Karlovy Vary Nemzetközi Filmfesztiválon és a Viennale-n is levetítették. Tea Vidović 1986-ban született Zágrábban. Alapdiplomáját szociológiából szerezte, mesterdiplomáját a Zágrábi Egyetem Bölcsészettudományi és Társadalomtudományi Karán. Társszervezője volt a What Is Balkan? – Balkan Bude című fotós, vizuális és zenei kiállításnak, amelynek célja az volt, hogy a helyi közösségben tudatosítsa a bevándorlók jelenlétét. 2011-ben beiratkozott Zágrábban az informális béketanulmányok programra, amelynek gyakorlati részeként közreműködött Đuro Gavran We Wanted Workers, Instead We Got People című filmjének előkészítő kutatásában. 2013-ban elkezdte a Restart dokumentumfilmes iskoláját, és ekkor fogalmazódott meg benne első dokumentumfilmjének ötlete is. 2012 óta a Béketanulmányi Központ munkatársaként bevándorlókkal és a bevándorló közösségekbe való beilleszkedésükkel foglalkozik.

Director, producer, writer and cinematographer, Nikolaus Geyrhalter was born in Vienna, Austria in 1972. Geyrhalter's static-camera, well-paced observational films tackle their subjects head-on, whether it's exploring the terrain in Chernobyl, Ukraine (Pripyat), tracing the route of the Dakar Rally (7915 Km), or investigating the production of processed foods (Our Daily Bread). At the age of 22, Geyrhalter started his own production company, Nikolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion (NGF). Geyrhalter examined night labor in Europe with Abendland (2011) and landscapes of urban decay across the world in Homo Sapiens (2016). The latter film played at the Berlinale Forum, the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Cinéma du Réel Festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and the Viennale. In 2015, Berlin's Arsenal Cinema programmed a retrospective dedicated to his work. The 38th Cinéma du Réel Festival programmed a sidebar on his documentaries. Geyrhalter's films have also screened at the Museum of Modern Art's Doc Fortnight.

Snajka: Diary of Expectations

Tea Vidović was born 1986, in Zagreb. She graduated with a BA in sociology and an MA from the Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She co-organized the photographic-visual-music exhibition What Is Balkan? – Balkan Bude, to raise awareness about the presence of migrants in the local community. In 2011 she enrolled in the informal training program, Peace Studies in Zagreb, and collaborated on research for the film We Wanted Workers, Instead We Got People, by Đuro Gavran. In 2013 she began Restart’s Documentary Film School and developed ideas for her first documentary film. She has been employed at the Centre for Peace Studies since 2012, working on the integration of migrants into immigrant communities and other migrant-related issues.

Caroline Troedsson is a documentary director and cinematographer based in Sweden. She has recently worked as a cinematographer for Only The Devil Lives Without Hope (2020), Every Face Has a Name (2015) and Becoming Zlatan (2016).

Wake Up On Mars

Dea Gjinovci is a Swiss-Albanian director/producer with a background in economics and anthropology. She is a 2019 Sundance Talent Forum alumna and a 2019 Film Independent Fellow. Her documentary short Sans le Kosovo (2017) screened at several international festivals and won Best National Film at Dokufest International Film Festival. Her debut feature-length documentary, Wake Up on Mars (2020), received support from the Sundance Film Institute and Ford Foundation JustFilms, and won the “Perspectives d’un doc” pitch award at Visions du Réel 2018. In June 2018, she co-founded Amok Films with fellow filmmaker Antoine Goldet, in Paris.
