Tánya nevében

Bénédicte Liénard filmrendezést tanult. Tanulmányai befejezése után rendezőasszisztensként dolgozott többek között a Dardenne-fivérek és Raymond Depardon filmjeiben. Első játékfilmje, Az égbolt egy darabja, Cannes-ban, Torontóban, San Sebastianban és New Yorkban is szerepelt fesztiválokon. Ezután számos megrázó dokumentumfilmet készített, amelyeket fesztiválokon és a televízióban is sokszor vetítettek. Ilyenek többek között a „D’arbres et de Charbon” és a Mary Jimenezzel közösen rendezett „Sobre las Brasas”.

A perui születésű Mary Jimenez Belgiumban tanult filmezést. Később filmrendezést oktatott Belgiumban, Kubában és Svájcban. Több mint 30 éve dolgozik rendezőként. Ismert filmjei: „Du Verbe Aimer”, „La Position du Lion Couché”, „Le Dictionnaire selon Marcus” és a „Héros sans Visage”, mind számos nemzetközi fesztiválon vettek részt. A „Tania nevében” című filmben harmadszor dolgozott együtt Bénédicte Liénard-dal.

Légszomj

A belga dokumentumfilmes Daniel Lambo íróként kezdte a munkásságát, színházaknak, tévében és filmekben dolgozott. Rendezőként kezdett csak el érdeklődni a társadalmi témák iránt. Újszerű, ösztönös és elhivatott filmes munkájához saját produkciós irodát is indított Lambo Films néven.

Transnistra

Anna Eborn is a Swedish artist and filmmaker, working and producing her films in Denmark. She studied Film and Photography in Malmö, and Human Geography at the University of Gotland, Sweden. Her debut documentary, Pine Ridge (2013), was in the Official Selection at the Venice International Film Festival 2013, and was awarded the Best Nordic Documentary at the International Film Festival in Gothenburg in 2014.

Gods of Molenbeek

Reetta Huhtanen is a filmmaker based in Helsinki. She studied Sociology and Philosophy at the University of Helsinki, and went on to obtain an MA in documentary film directing from the ELO Film School at Aalto University, Finland, where she is currently a doctoral student.

Bénédicte Liénard studied film direction. After her studies, she worked as assistant director on the films of, among others, the Dardenne brothers and Raymond Depardon. Her first feature film « Une Part du Ciel » was screened at Cannes, Toronto, San Sebastian and New York. She went on to direct numerous hard-hitting documentaries, widely screened both in festivals and on television. Titles include « D’arbres et de Charbon » and « Sobre las Brasas », directed with Mary Jimenez.

Born in Peru, Mary Jimenez pursued film studies in Belgium. She has also taught filmmaking in Belgium, Cuba and Switzerland. Being a writer and a director for more than 30 years, Mary’s work includes films like « Du Verbe Aimer », « La Position du Lion Couché », « Le Dictionnaire selon Marcus » et « Héros sans Visage », all of wich have been selected at numerous festivals woldwide. « By the name of Tania » will be her third collaboration with Bénédicte Liénard.

Breathless

Daniel Lambo is a filmmaker from Belgium. He started his career as a writer for theater, television and cinema. As a director, Lambo shifted his attention towards social themes. His renewed approach to filmmaking—both intuitive and socially engaged—inspired him to start his own production company, Lambo Films.

Pieter-Jan Van Damme studied international law and was exposed to documentary film accidentally, which altered the course of his life and led him to look for stories of everyday heroes that represent larger issues like globalization, labor and migration.

Andrés Lübbert 22 díjat nyert el dokumentumfilmjeivel, melyek 20 ország több mint 160 nemzetközi film fesztiválján szerepeltek. The Color of the Chameleon

Andrés Lübbert has participated in more than 160 International Film Festivals in 20 countries, and won 22 prizes with his documentaries. Lübbert tells stories about his intercultural environment, migration, identity and human rights. He has made several films about the Chilean postmemory. El color del camaleon is his latest film.
