Vektor
Background Noise
Vektor, the immersive section of Verzió Film Festival, returns for its seventh edition under the theme "Background Noise". Public discourse is saturated by loud signals and well-funded narratives. What gets pushed down persists as background noise. We propose a different reading: background noise can hold what gets dismissed and amplify what cannot be heard. The selection brings together virtual reality, interactive media and installations exploring mortality, altered states and our cultural history.
