We invite young documentary film enthusiasts to apply for the Young Jury at this year’s festival.

The 23rd Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival takes place from November 16–25, 2026, in Budapest, and online from November 26 to December 6 at festival.verzio.org.
The members of the Young Jury will watch the films selected for the Anthropocene Competition of the 23rd Verzió, discuss them with their fellow jury members, and choose the winner of the Shared Future Award.
To become a jury member, you should be available in Budapest from November 16 to 22. The Award Ceremony will take place on November 22 at Művész Cinema, where the members of the Young Jury will present the award and read their statement.
The Young Jury members will receive full accreditation for the film screenings and professional programmes of the 23rd Verzió.
To apply, please send us an email with a one-page motivation letter and a short review of a documentary film that has deeply affected you recently. The application materials can be submitted in Hungarian or English.
Applicants aged 18–26 are eligible to apply.
