Doc Future Competition
The Doc Future Competition brings together international films by young filmmakers, offering a glimpse into how a new generation sees the world and the questions that concern them. This year’s selection focuses primarily on personal stories, exploring everything from family relationships and identity to social vulnerability, migration, war, and the search for a sense of belonging. From remote mountain villages in Montenegro and war-torn landscapes in Ukraine to rural communities across Europe, Iran’s beauty industry, and conservative Kazakh society, the films take viewers into diverse worlds through sensitive and deeply personal perspectives.
