A cooperation between Verzió and Budapest Metropolitan University has manifested in a project where graphic design MA students selected a film from the festival program and designed their own alternative poster - later exhibited in Empathy Café.
After the exhibition has finished, together with the students we have decided to offer the posters to a charity auction to support the work of Léthatáron Foundation, an NGO working for homeless people in Hungary. Along with the posters the filmmakers and distributors also agreed to give the buyers 1 month online viewing access to the films depicted on the posters.
The auction took place on January 5, 2019 in Anker't. Besides Verzió many other organizations and firms donated something of their own and thanks to the joint effort the bidding has resulted in totally 2,589,000 HUF donation.
The organizers of the auction and the colleagues of the foundation thank all the donations.
