Program Assistant (Intern 1)


  • Collect and organize data on films and filmmakers
  • Assist with editing the festival catalogue, brochure and website
  • Assist the festival coordinator in her general duties
  • Active, online correspondence with filmmakers, distributors and producers
  • Coordinate a project (for example: Q&As, special event series) with supervision from the festival coordinator

Community Outreach Assistant (Intern 2)


  • Prepare info packages about the films and programs
  • Maintain contact with existing and new partners: civil organizations, university networks, cultural institutions
  • Assist guest programs of partners, with supervision from the festival coordinator
  • Assist the communications coordinator in her general duties


  • familiarity and interest in human rights and documentary cinema
  • high level of problem-solving skills
  • responsibility in task management
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Hungarian knowledge is only required for the Community Outreach Assistant


  • Gain first-hand knowledge of recent social documentaries from around the globe
  • Learn about production and circulation of documentary films, and the making of a festival program
  • Gain experience in organizing a public, cultural event
  • Improve your teamwork competence
  • Develop your written and oral communication skills
  • Work in an international team

Location: Blinken OSA Archives (1051 Budapest, Arany Janos u. 32)

Period: September 3–November 30, 2018, 30 hours per week (flexible schedule to be agreed with coordinator)

Net Pay: 60,000 HUF per month
