Látogatások Mamajénál

Kádár Hanna Sára 2022-ben diplomázott a pozsonyi VSMU-n dokumentumfilm-rendezőként. Miután, a Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetemet ért kormányzati támadások miatt, félbehagyta budapesti tanulmányait. A 'Látogatások Mamajénál’ című filmmel vette át a diplomáját, a filmben egy számára fontos témával, a generációk közötti kapcsolatokkal foglalkozik. Nagycsaládból származik, gyerekkora óta szereti megfigyelni a családi dinamikákat. Érdeklik a családok funkcionális és diszfunkcionális kapcsolódásai, megközelítése intim bepillantást nyújt bonyolult helyzetekbe, ítélet nélkül. ‘Szuterén’ című kisfilmjét 2021-ben vetítette a Verzió a freeSZFE szekció keretében. 2023-ban a FIPADOC-on a Young European Stories szekció zsűritagja volt. Jelenleg témát keres, hogy az egyetemről kikerülve elkezdhessen dolgozni első nem iskolai keretek között készült dokumentumfilmjén.

Visiting Mamajé

Hanna Sára Kádár finished her degree in 2022 at VSMU in Bratislava as a documentary film director after she left her studies in Budapest due to the government’s attacks on the University of Theatre and Film Arts. ‘Visiting Mamajé’ is her graduation film where she explores her favourite topic, intergenerational relationships. Coming from a big family she is prone to observe family dynamics, functional and dysfunctional connections in families, her approach gives an intimate look at difficult relations without judgment. Her student film ‘Separated’ was screened at Verzió in 2021 as part of the freeSZFE section. In 2023, she was a jury member for the Young European Stories Section at FIPADOC. She is currently looking for topics to start to work on her first documentary out of university.

Dalok a Nép Szigetéről

Bíró Danijar a londoni UCL-en szerzett BA társadalomtudományok diplomát, majd videós újságíróként kezdte pályafutását a Partizánnál. Az orosz-ukrán háborút személyes történeteken keresztül feldolgozó portré-sorozata szakmai díjban részesült. Idén készült el a Dalok a Nép Szigetéről című diplomafilmje a Goldsmiths MA dokumentumfilm képzésen.

Songs from People's Island

Danijar Bíró earned his BA in Social Sciences from UCL in London, and then began his career as a video journalist at Partizán in Budapest. His portrait series, Faces of War which covers the Russian-Ukrainian war through personal stories, received the Hégető Honorka Award. In 2024, he completed his graduation film, Songs from People’s Island as part of the MA Documentary Film program at Goldsmiths, London.

Hogy is volt?

Dorottya nemrég szerzett diplomát a Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetem dokumentumfilm-rendező mester szakán (DokMA). Diákfilmjei a Zsigmond Vilmos Filmfesztiválon (ZSIFF), az Országos Független Filmfesztiválon (MAFSZ) és a Friss Hús Nemzetközi Rövidfilmfesztiválon voltak láthatók. Dorottya munkássága a dokumentumfilm és a kísérleti film határmezsgyéjén áll, gyakran egyszemélyes stábként forgat, illetve ül a kamera elé, mint szereplő. Munkáiban gyakran absztrakt és diverz elemeket használ (mobil felvétel, fotó, házi videó), melyekkel mélyen személyes témákat dolgoz fel.

How Did I Get Here?

Dorottya recently graduated from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, in documentary film directing. Her student films have been screened at Zsigmond Vilmos Film Festival (ZSIFF), The National Independent Film Festival (MAFSZ), and Friss Hús International Short Film Festival. Dorottya’s work is on the border between documentary and experimental film, she shoots and often sits in front of the camera herself, often using abstract elements or mixed media images in her work (photography, home video, mobile phone footage), dealing with deeply personal themes.

Aseneth Suárez Ruiz is a Colombian documentary filmmaker, producer and educational content creator, and co-founder of Maquina Andante Media Lab. She studied documentary filmmaking in Barcelona and has produced and directed two award-winning feature-length documentaries – Parador Húngaro (2014) and CLARA (2021) – as well as the documentary short These Are Not Our Memories (2022). She has worked on projects for television including the animated series Cuentazos con efectazos (Storytime with Sound Effects) and Fuerzas invisibles (Invisible Forces), as well as the documentary Banderas en Marte (Flags on Mars). Her television work has received nominations and awards at festivals including Prix Jeunesse, Kidscreen, Comkids, Input and Japan Prize. She is currently producer on Andrea Said’s forthcoming documentary Yo Pakistán.
